Today, lululemon – in partnership with the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) and Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and – revealed its first-ever summer Athlete Kit for Team Canada ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. With the launch of the Athlete Kit and Retail Collection beginning April 16, lululemon embarks on its second Games in a multi-year partnership with the CPC and COC as Official Outfitter of Team Canada.

In Toronto this week, lululemon in partnership with the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) and Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) revealed its first-ever Summer Athlete Kit for Team Canada ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

lululemon worked with 19 different athletes, including Paralympic and Olympic Team Members, across 14 different sports to understand what a day looks like at the Games, with a focus on emotional, social and physical perspectives.

Bo Hedges reflects on fatherhood, Canadian team, and wheelchair basketball future

TORONTO – Bo Hedges, a veteran player on Canada’s men’s wheelchair basketball team and vying this week for a fifth Paralympic Games appearance, is enjoying his new life as a father of an infant daughter.

“Her arrival has definitely changed things and it’s been an amazing experience,’’ said Hedges in February in an interview at the CPC’s content and media content summit. ‘’It’s so cool and I feel very fortunate.’’

Canada’s new coach makes debut at last chance Paralympic Games qualifier

OTTAWA – Michele Sung was named head coach of Canada’s women’s wheelchair basketball team last month and her first assignment is the last chance Paralympic Games qualifying tournament.

The eight-country event is set for April 17-20 in Osaka, Japan. The top-four teams earn tickets to the Paris Games set for August 28 to September 8.

“It’s definitely a unique and new challenge for me,” Sung told CTV News. “I’m really excited to get back to coaching at the international level.”

Canadian men’s wheelchair basketball team needs top-four to qualify for Paris

OTTAWA – Veterans Patrick Anderson and Bo Hedges headline Canada’s team for the men’s wheelchair basketball last chance Paralympic Games qualifier set for April 12-15 in Antibes, France.

The top-four teams in the eight-country tournament earn tickets to the 2024 Paralympic Games set further north in Paris from August 28 to September 8.
