Big second period helps Canada to win over South Korea

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. (Hockey Canada) – Greg Westlake (Oakville, Ont.) and Tyler McGregor (Forest, Ont.) had four points apiece in a busy second period, and Canada’s para ice hockey team stayed unbeaten at the 2017 World Sledge Hockey Challenge with a 9-3 win over South Korea on Monday night.

Bronze Finish For Curt Minard In Finland

PYHA, Finland – Curt Minard of Vernon, B.C. won the bronze medal in the upper limb category at the first of two Para-snowboardcross World Cups in Finland. Minard led the charge for the Canadians, grabbing Canada’s sole medal of the weekend on Friday, as well as posting a respectable sixth place finish in Saturday's World Cup.
