Mike Mondin Named Head Coach of Canada's National Sledge Team For 2010-11 Season; Selection Camp to be Held September 10-12 in Petawawa, Ont.

CALGARY, Alta. - Hockey Canada announced on Wednesday that Mike Mondin (Trail, B.C.) has been named head coach of Canada's National Sledge Team for the 2010-11 season. It was also announced that Billy McGuigan (Charlottetown, P.E.I.) will join Mondin behind the bench as an assistant coach.

Canada Starts the Austrian Boccia Open with Three Straight Wins

Veterans Francois Bourbonniere, of Montreal, QC, Tammy McLeod of London, On and rookie Keven Smith-Worthylake, Ottawa, ON finished the first day of competition with three straight wins in the BC1/BC2 Team category at the Austrian Boccia Open in Vienna. The finals will be held on Sunday.

Robert Labbé wins bronze at Para-Cycling World Championships
