Canada wins 4 medals on day 5 of track and field at the Commonwealth Games

Four more medals were added to the count today bringing the track and field total to 11 in Delhi. In the women's long jump two athletes stood on the podium together as Alice Falaiye of Brampton, ON won the gold with 6.50 metres while Pickering's Tabia Charles won bronze with 6.44 metres.  This was Tabia's second medal at these games earlier...

Medal streak continues in Delhi; track and field takes 3 more medals

Jamie Adjetey-Nelson of Windsor, Ontario, Diane Roy of Sherbrooke, Quebec and Tabia Charles of Pickering, Ontario all earned medals today at the Commonwealth Games.  Adjetey-Nelson and Roy both captured gold while Charles won bronze bringing the track and field total to 6 (5 gold and 1 bronze).
