Team Canada Off To World Championships

Canada's men's goalball team competing at London 2012 Paralympic Games

Vancouver, BC - Canada’s National Goalball Team is in Lithuania to train for the IBSA World Championship, beginning June 30th in Finland.

The 2014 Canadian team is coached by Danny Snow of Calgary AB and Robert Lebel of Vancouver BC.

The squad consists of:

  • Brendan Gaulin- Vancouver BC
  • Ahmad Zeividavi – Vancouver BC
  • Bruno Haché – Montreal QC
  • Simon Tremblay - Quebec City QC
  • Douglas Ripley – New Westminster BC
  • Simon Richard – Moncton NB
  • Team Manager – Shane Esau – Calgary AB
  • Physiotherapist - Isabelle Trottier – Quebec City QC

Canada’s first game is June 30th versus Egypt.
