VISTA 2017 conference participants gathered at the The MaRS Discovery District for a reception hosted by the Government of Ontario on Thursday September 21, 2017.
Sports scientists and researchers from around the world are in Toronto to provide a forum for exchange on current information, expertise on Paralympic sport and the Paralympic Movement. There are more than 300 attendees at VISTA 2017 from 41 countries.
The Honorable David Onley, Ontario’s Special Advisor on Accessibility
The reception comes in advance of the Ontario Ministry of Research, Innovation and Science, in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development and Growth and the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario for the 2017 Accessibility Innovation Showcase on September 25-26 at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto.
That event will offer an exclusive opportunity to meet senior-level Ontario government officials and network with executives from dozens of Ontario-based companies and organizations developing innovative accessibility-related technologies and devices. It will be one of North America’s largest urban innovation hubs.
The Accessibility Directorate of Ontario was also lauded for its support of VISTA 2017 and for providing this exclusive opportunity to all delegates.
The VISTA 2017 conference continues through to Saturday, Sept. 23.
