Additional dates and cities announced for cross-Canada tour to promote Paralympic sport

On Dec. 3, Rio 2016 Chef de Mission Chantal Petitclerc launched a national media tour to promote Paralympic sports and athletes training for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

With the first stop focusing on the Ottawa/Gatineau region, Petitclerc and local swimmer Camille Bérubé spent an action-packed day visiting media, sponsors, government and community supporters – ending the day speaking to youth swimmers at Bérubé’s home pool, Natation Gatineau.

Petitclerc will visit a total of eight cities on this tour, connecting with local athletes and supporters at every stop.

The tour’s next stop will be January 19 in Calgary. Additional dates will include:  Feb 26 in Toronto, Apr. 21 in Halifax Apr. 28 in Montreal, May 3 in Winnipeg, May 4 in Saskatoon and June 7 in Vancouver.
