More Canadians than ever watched the Paralympic Games this past winter from Sochi. The CPC created a first-of-its-kind Paralympic media consortium (CBC/Radio-Canada, Sportsnet, Yahoo!, AMI and SendtoNews) and led a broadcast strategy that redefined Paralympic sport coverage in Canada.  An audience of 8.8 million Canadians tuned-in to the hundreds of hours of available coverage both on conventional TV and on-line. 


This month, join us in revisiting memorable moments for Canadian Paralympic sport in 2014. The Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games and the Commonwealth Games were the high profile events for Canadian para-athletes in 2014. But as is the case with their able-bodied counterparts, Canada’s high performance athletes with a disability travelled around the world to various competitions including World Cups and world championships and enjoyed plenty of success.
