Michael Sametz

 

Michael Sametz is one of Canada’s fastest rising stars in para-cycling. In June 2015, he successfully defended his national titles in the road race and time trial. That was just after earning a bronze at A World Cup in in the time trial. He launched 2015 with an eighth place in the individual pursuit at the world track championships.

He was involved in many sports, including cycling, as a youngster and started to seriously pursue para-cycling at age 14.  He was introduced to the sport by Stephen Burke from the Calgary Cycling Centre.
