Meghan Montgomery

Meghan Montgomery
Although originally from Winnipeg where she attended the University of Manitoba, Meghan Montgomery relocated to rowing’s Mecca of Victoria, BC, to train on a regular basis at the national training centre on Elk Lake.

Montgomery has been rowing for more than 10 years and part of the National Para- Rowing program for several years. London will be her second Paralympic Games. At the Beijing Paralympic Games in 2008, Montgomery and her crew placed sixth. At the world championships, they won gold in 2010 and silver in 2011.

Montgomery holds a BA and BEd from the University of Manitoba. Her disability is a congenital one, affecting her right hand.
