As a player, Hanif is renowned for his consistency and precision on the boccia court, two skills that have certainly contributed to his extensive athletic career. Currently ranked number eight in the world in the BC1 classification, Hanif will be a force to be reckoned with at the Parapan American Games this August.

Career Highlights

Hanif’s most memorable game was in Kansas City in 2013 at the Americas Cup. In the final end, after his Argentinian opponent was poised to tie the match, Hanif focused and threw his jack to score the point, and win the game to take the bronze medal.


Hanif enjoys spending time with his family, enjoys dancing and swimming, is an avid football and hockey fan spent several years as a goalie in power-soccer before focussing his energy in boccia.
