Brianna Jennett-McNeill

Brianna Jennett-McNeill started swimming at age seven at the Russell Barracuda Club and in her first year was named the club’s most improved swimmer.

She says she is very motivated by her sport and the pursuit to be her best. Swimming also helps her maintain a healthy lifestyle. She has also worked as a lifeguard at the local community pool in Russell the past two summers. She says it has helped her with her social skills and leadership abilities.

Jennett-McNeill graduated from Russell High School in 2010. She plans to go to university and eventually become a personal trainer and physical education teacher. Her 15-year-old brother, Drew, is also active in sports, playing hockey and racing the 100-metre and 300-metre hurdles in track and field.
