Tamara Steeves

Tamara Steeves discovered wheelchair basketball in 2008 and immediately fell in love with the sport. In 2011 she landed a roster spot on Canada’s first-ever women’s U25 team. She made her international debut with Team Canada at the 2011 Osaka Cup, where the squad captured a bronze medal. She also helped Team Ontario win a silver medal at the Canada Games.
The native of Etobicoke, Ontario thrives on the competitiveness of the game. With that competitive spirit, Steeves has worked her way up the wheelchair basketball ranks.
