Shayne Dobson

Shayne Dobson was born and raised in Campbellton, New Brunswick. Currently in his third year of the Kinesiology program at the University of Moncton, Shayne was recently voted captain of the school’s cross country team.
Shayne was born with cerebral palsy that affects the left side of his body, but it was never an obstacle for him. Before beginning his career in cross country, Shayne was a competitive tennis player, only signing up for his university’s cross country team to push his own limits.
Only in his second competitive season, Shayne is looking to better the Canadian T37 800-metres record and is thrilled to represent Canada at the 2011 Parapan American Games in Guadalajara.
