Bradley Quast

Bradley Quast is a member of the Canadian Forces. On December 30, 2009, his life was changed when he was injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Afghanistan. During his rehabilitation, Bradley was encouraged by his adaptive fitness specialist to get involved in sport. Bradley has been playing sitting volleyball ever since, and says that the sport has helped him realize that despite his disability, he can still be physically active, compete in sports and enjoy life.

The most influential people on Bradley’s sporting career have been his teammates. His career highlight has been competing in London for the Harpers Sitting Volleyball International. His next goal is to compete with Team Canada at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

In his spare time, Bradley enjoys motorcycle riding, target hooting and hunting.
